Corporate Travel Consultant- Northfield, IL ONSITE LOCATION-SABRE    

 

As an FCM Corporate Travel consultant, you will join a team of other highly skilled travel consultants who provide exceptional traveler care to our College of American Pathologists corporate clients.

You will be responsible for assisting with the completion of both domestic and international travel arrangements and special requests. 

 

Responsibilities

Arrange routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, car, hotel, limousine and rail, utilizing SABRE for VIP clients

Provide consultative multi-country routings for best fare and preferred carrier usage

Ensure optimum customer service while coordinating client travel policy responsibilities; effective use of computer systems

Research and resolve client inquiries

Use positive telephone service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations

Provide travel expertise to clients

Answer calls and emails within our SLA agreement

Book and issue airline, hotel, car and other reservations through our GDS system, accurately and efficiently

Check queues daily to ensure accuracy

Communicate effectively with other team members to solve problems and gather information.

 

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years Corporate Travel industry experience

Minimum of 2 years international expertise experience highly preferred

Sabre GDS proficiency required

In depth knowledge of world geography

Proficient with city, airline, hotel and car rental codes

Display highest level of integrity when dealing with internal and external customers

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

Strong organizational skills

Excellent computer and typing skills, which includes the ability to navigate between programs

Ability to identify a problem and see it through to resolution with minimal supervision

Ability to sit for extended periods of time without leaving work area

Willingness to demonstrate professional conduct at all times

 

 

**This role requires working at the onsite location of College of American Pathologists in Northfield, IL.

We are looking for full time employees who can work Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift between the hours of 8AM to 5PM
