About the Opportunity

The Head of Engineering leads teams to perform the excellent Enterprise Core Systems performance and hi-quality Technology Services. Contribute in designing, deploying Enterprise Architecture, Core Database Structure, Multi-system Integration to match Technology Strategy and Digital Roadmap. Consult and provide digital initiatives, solutions, automation tools to help business increase revenue, reduce expenses, enhance business efficiency, and improve customer experience. Also focuses on process optimization, cost effectiveness, automation and a culture of continuous improvement.

Last but not least, this position is responsible for leading, coaching, managing Engineering team become a reliable and accountable team to reach the expectations of Department and Company.

Your main responsibilities are:  

  • Ensure the excellent performance of core system and other Technology Services.
  • Deliver the outcomes from business requirement and project request.
  • Consult and apply the new technology to help improve business productivity and outcomes.
  • Evaluate and scale up fast to mass scale deployment for creating value to business transformation.
  • Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities.
  • Lead, coach, manage team members to develop both their mindset and skillset.
  • Inspire, encourage team members share, propose their opinion, idea to contribute for team performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis, identify, and define areas for improvement of processes across all functions.
  • Propose and drive solutions to minimize complexities, optimize and improve business needed for creating value.
  • Thinks “out of the box” and develops creative solutions to complex technical and process problems.
  • Review existing work processes and identify new ways of working and/or improvements to have continuous efficiency  improvements.

About you

The Essentials:

  • 7 years + experience in working related areas.
  • Experienced in leading and managing Enigeering team, Dev team.
  • Experienced in Microsoft D365 CRM, F&O, Power Platform
  • Experienced in APIs, Middleware, Backend IntegrationDigital Transformation, Fronend Dev, Fullstack BI.
  • Strong ability to drive Solution Delivery transformation for both IT and business. Have hands on experience in successfully transform traditional waterfall delivery team to agile delivery model.
  • Ability to work well with individuals and groups at all levels of organization and different pieces of a complex business chain. Excellent written and verbal English Skills.
  • Organization, independent, strong team player/leader, discipline, and multiple task management. Proven leadership, team building, communication, presentation, interpersonal, collaborating and partnering, entrepreneurial skills, and coaching skills. Mentoring and facilitating culture change.
  • Bachelor of IT System; Got knowledge of Digitalization Solution is a plus
  • Graduate degree, MBA is a plus.

  • Willing to travel on business when required.
  • Pro-actively seeking on-going improvements and efficiencies in all activities, focusing on reducing costs.
