About the Opportunity:

Lead the Salesforce development practice by providing strong technical expertise and people leadership. Oversee the design, delivery, and management of development initiatives to meet project and business requirements. Ultimately, this role is responsible for delivering effective business process automation solutions that enhance organisational performance and profitability.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Liaise with Systems Architect and members of the global team to establish best solution for new work.
  • Maintain integrity of the systems infrastructure and suggest improvements for future proofing.
  • Direct technical aspect of implementing client requirements.
  • Manage workload for development team.
  • Participate in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies.
  • Conduct peer reviews for application design, coding and adherence to standards and policies, including mentoring of junior staff.
  • Using multiple programming languages (including Salesforce.com Apex, AJAX, SQL), create solutions such as Visualforce pages and components, Apex classes, controllers and triggers, in Salesforce.com, in line with project & business requirements.
  • Deploy code within deployment management process framework.
  • Communicate and work with other members of this team closely to ensure project and business needs are met.

Software Development

  • Develop end to end solutions to meet project & business needs within deadlines.
  • Work with members of the global team to understand business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot existing code when issues arise and offer solutions.

Design

  • Work with members of the Global Team to ensure the best solution is sought and implemented to any existing or future builds.
  • Understand technical architecture and work with Systems Architect in
    order to provide the best solution

Leadership

  • Manage development workload.
  • Mentor junior developers.
  • Peer review code in the development team to ensure standard and best practices are adhered to.

 

What you will need:

  • Relevant Degree Qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' application programming and development experience on an object orientated platform
  • Salesforce.com & Apex experience highly desirable
  • Proven history in designing solutions and programming to meet business requirement
