Marketing Manager, Southeast Asia | Lead Marketing for an Award Winning Brand

About The Opportunity 

As our Marketing Manager, Southeast Asia, you’ll be the driving force behind FCM’s regional marketing strategy — leading multi-channel campaigns that power client acquisition, retention, and growth across Southeast Asia.

Partnering closely with sales, account management, and global marketing teams, you’ll deliver bold, data-driven initiatives that align with business goals and deliver measurable ROI. You will lead strategic development of the FCM PR strategy to position the company, its corporate brand and executives in top-tier domestic media outlets.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where communication, collaboration, and creativity are key. You’ll be the vital link between global priorities and regional execution — ensuring every campaign, event, and story reflects the FCM way.

While your primary focus will be Southeast Asia, you will also be responsible to work closely with the marketing managers in other Asian markets (India, Japan and China) to drive marketing performance aligned to business objectives and deliverables.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Brand Development

  • Translate global and regional brand goals into plans and profitable go-to-market strategies.
  • Be the local brand ambassador to share nuances with global and regional leaders.
  • Champion the FCM brand and ensure adherence to the brand standards and values.
  • Formulate a deep understanding of the FCM ideal customer profile through customer segmentation, analysis and activity performance.

Lead Generation

  • Align and execute Global and Local Marketing Strategy, Plans and Campaigns that drive lead generation and support the progression of the sales funnel.
  • Effectively manage digital and social media marketing campaigns per budget with continuous testing, analysing, tracking and reporting of results.
  • Work with digital resources to maximise paid programs and lead nurture activities.
  • Manage the creation of an effective content strategy and its execution across social, email and digital channels.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing alignment with sales growth targets.

Event Management & Execution

  • Maximise FCMs presence at key industry events and client-facing engagements, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and direct post-event follow up including ROI tracking and reporting.

Public Relations & Communications

  • Lead the strategic development of the corporate PR strategy to position FCM and its executives in top-tier domestic media outlets 
  • Work with global PR leads and local agencies to drive the execution of press releases, thought leadership and reactive PR.
  • Support the development of award submissions, speaking opportunities and other brand building activities.

Budgeting & Reporting

  • Develop and present an annual budget with quarterly reforecasts.
  • Monitor marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to forecasts in Asia.
  • Prepare, consolidate and share monthly marketing performance reports with management.

Team Leadership

  • Ensure efficient & effective day-to-day collaboration & problem solving within the Asia marketing department including weekly business meetings and 1:1’s to monitor performance and drive excellence.
  • Foster a cohesive, creative working environment.
  • Work closely with the SEA management team to align marketing plans with company objectives.
  • Represent the marketing team to internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for: 

  • Experienced marketers with minimum 6 years plus of experience in digital, event management and PR.
  • Experienced leading/working with a cross-cultural team in person or remotely
  • Experienced managing social media and web platforms across markets in Asia
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively and fluently in English and additional local languages e.g. Mandarin/ Japanese/ Cantonese is highly desirable 
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, to interpret results, draw conclusions and provide recommendations
  • Excellent track record in 360 marketing and lead generation to achieve targets
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, managing tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take initiative, provide original solutions to challenges, self-motivated positive attitude and ability to think outside the box
  • Attention to details and high standard of quality control
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or Business
