About the opportunity
The Community Project Manager (Junior) will play an important role in supporting the planning and coordination of community projects, with a focus on infrastructure development and collaboration with community partners. This role works closely with Discova leaders and local community members to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with community priorities. The position contributes to Discova’s mission of creating meaningful, sustainable, and socially impactful community projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, organising, and monitoring community infrastructure projects.
- Support communication and coordination between Discova leaders, local communities, and external partners.
- Track project timelines, budgets, and progress reports under the guidance of the Community Development Team Leader.
- Ensure project documentation, including meeting notes and financial records, is accurate and up to date.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with community leaders and members.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions with community stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Accompany Discova leaders or partners on site visits as needed.
- Assist in the procurement and management of resources and materials required for projects.
- Ensure that assets, donations, and project-related funds are properly recorded and reported.
- Provide logistical support for events, workshops, or community activities linked to infrastructure projects.
About You
- Degree in community development, project management, tourism, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- At least one year of experience in community projects, volunteering, or internships.
- Basic understanding of project coordination and community engagement.
- Fluent in Business English (spoken and written), and a native Thai speaker.
