We are expanding our Corporate Traveller team and we think you should know all about it!  

An Assistant Team Leader is someone who leads and inspires the whole team, working closely with the Team Leader you'll be empowered to build an environment where the team can have fun, achieve sales targets, and deliver an excellent customer experience every time! 

What we're looking for in this Leader is their ability to: 

  • Inspire others through a shared vision and establish clear goals and plans to empower team members to act 
  • Coach and develop others 
  • Manage change with effective communication 
  • Create the right environment by recognising and celebrating team members contributions and embracing change
  • Lead by example in behaviors, attitude and performance
  • Be disciplined with systems and processes 
  • Demonstrate business sense with forward planning! 

 

Skills and Experience (what makes a great Flightie!) 

  • Previous consulting experience in corporate travel is essential - leadership experience preferred 
  • A track record of excellence in customer service & the ability to be agile in an ever-changing environment  
  • A sharp eye for detail and accuracy & the skill to manage a high volume of bookings   
  • Great knowledge of travel and the desire to achieve results 
  • Strong airfare / change processes knowledge, the use of VTP as a form of payment would be a plus 
  • The ability/desire to connect and communicate with a remote based team
