Reporting to the Head of Product, and joining the Product Department, we are seeking a new Southern Europe Destination Manager and would welcome you to apply as an internal candidate.
Role Purpose
Scott Dunn is seeking a passionate and innovative Southern Europe Destination Manager to refine and expand our product offerings and deliver exceptional travel experiences. This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent destination knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers. The successful candidate will collaborate with our teams in the UK, USA, and Singapore to create and deliver bespoke travel experiences that align with Scott Dunn’s luxury standards.
Responsibilities
Destination and Product Development
- Design and oversee exceptional travel itineraries across Southern Europe, showcasing bespoke experiences tailored to high-net-worth travellers.
- Build and maintain a diverse portfolio of luxury products and trusted supplier partnerships, including relationships with DMCs and luxury hotels.
- Collaborate with partners to create exclusive, engaging experiences that reflect Scott Dunn’s commitment to excellence.
- Conduct ongoing research into market trends, competitor offerings, and guest preferences to ensure the portfolio remains fresh, competitive, and aligned with client expectations.
Supplier Management
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with hotels and DMCs.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure productivity, profitability, and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and streamline supplier processes.
Marketing and Sales Support
- Partner with the Marketing team to produce compelling content for campaigns.
- Provide Sales teams with destination expertise and tools to enhance booking conversions.
- Design itineraries that leverage preferred partnerships, seasonal opportunities, and unique experiences.
- Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, and optimised for SEO.
- Create and update sales tools, templates, and the product database.
- Deliver regular product updates and training sessions for staff.
- Organise and execute FAM trips to enhance the team’s destination knowledge.
Operations
- Ensure smooth execution of itineraries, monitoring guest feedback and addressing issues as needed.
- Support with guest emergencies to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety Executive on safety compliance.
Duties
The duties that derive from these responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:
- Continuously refine product offerings based on feedback and insights.
- Support the Head of Product with reporting on trends, statistics, and performance to inform decision making
- Attend supplier events, trade shows, and undertake overseas travel when required.
- Carry out additional duties as needed to support the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Italy and Greece preferable, with a passion for luxury travel.
- Experience in tailor-made travel, luxury beach resorts, and DMCs.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Organised and analytical, with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, results-driven attitude with a focus on delivering excellence.
- Experience working with teams across international offices is desirable.

Location
We aim to find someone who would be office based in our London, Hammersmith office.
