Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Purpose: The Senior Full-Stack Engineer is responsible for front-end and back-end design, building, testing, and releasing across multiple streams. This role requires experience in agile software development and the ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions focused on customer value. The candidate should demonstrate practical experience in agile engineering methods and a deep understanding of good software engineering practices.
Primary Accountabilities & Objectives:
- Design, develop, and deploy applications, microservices, and APIs
- Craft high-quality, secure, testable, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and compliance obligations
- Conduct software testing using both automated and manual methods
- Implement logging and monitoring solutions for system health and application performance insights
- Analyze business requirements and problem-solve to create effective solutions
- Maintain and enhance documentation across codebases, architectures, and knowledge bases
- Proactively seek ways to improve solution quality, codebases, technical debt, standards, processes, and best practices

Essential Experience:
- 10+ years in building and maintaining software applications
- 5+ years of experience with Java
- Experience with Oracle/RDS databases
- Proficiency in Typescript, React, and NodeJS
- Expertise in software testing, including unit, integration, and E2E tests
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling and practices
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of AWS CloudFront, Lambda, and API Gateways
- AWS cloud infrastructure experience
- Kubernetes knowledge
- Exposure to observability tools such as Splunk and New Relic
- Experience with large-scale websites/e-commerce
- Background in the travel industry
Skills & Capabilities:
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive
- Well-organized and capable of multitasking while maintaining focus
- Basic understanding of the systems/software development lifecycle
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Proficient in both technical and non-technical documentation
- Attention to detail with effective organizational and time management skills
