About the opportunity:

The Account Manager for Discova plays an instrumental part in nurturing and growing our relationships with key accounts, including Flight Centre. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, driving account growth, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in account management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

 A day in the life...

  • Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with key team members within our partner organisations whilst serving as the main point of contact, overseeing all levels of the partnership to ensure high service standards and alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct client meetings with a clear agenda and vision for the partnership's future.
  • Create and manage a clear timeline for partnership growth and renegotiate agreements as necessary.
  • Monitor account performance through key metrics and report regularly on progress against commercial targets.
  • Collaborate with Flight Centre teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and promote products and services.
  • Lead the contracting process, ensuring alignment with client goals and presenting proposals effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of opportunities and account information using best practices and systems such as Salesforce.
  • Participate in training and upskilling opportunities as recommended or relevant to your role.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and industry trends through regular training sessions and self-learning.
  • Track client updates and industry news through various channels including social media and marketing emails.

 

Who you are...

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or account management within the travel/hospitality industry.
  • In-depth experience with the Asia market is preferred.
  • Proven track record of account growth and customer retention.
  • Outstanding sales skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to interact with diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and working outside office hours if required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective results.
  • Willingness to travel for business domestically and internationally.
