The travel industry is making a generational change in the way it sells air product through the New Distribution Capability (NDC). Both airlines and their partner platforms are moving to a more consistent & standardized way of selling air fares.


The purpose of this role is to drive 4 streams of work to enable this across all regions – technical alignment, operational impacts, commercial and customer outcomes.

This role will oversee the execution of multiple, concurrent projects, reporting and support customer & change planning as needed, for both local and global projects delivering NDC. More broadly, FCTG is looking at how we standardise and deploy new technologies, processes, and capabilities globally. This will then allow our global brands to harness the culture of our people to build products and services that our customers love and recommend to others. You will be part of a global PMO team tasked with enabling the investments and delivering the outcomes that will deliver on this vision.

The successful applicant will have a deep project and program delivery background, strong analytical skills and lateral thinking, with a hands-on approach to solving challenges and maximising opportunities to do things better. With excellent senior stakeholder management skills and ability to work across time zones, the role will deliver incredible growth opportunities and experiences.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a matrixed global role is mandatory. 10+ years in transformational change managing programs and/ or projects contributing to strategic goals.

Demonstrable, hands-on experience of:

  • Successful delivery of $500k -$5M+ projects and programs of work.
  • Project and Program ddelivery methodologies and best practices.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
