SEO Specialist (or Associate) Job Description:

 

We are looking for individuals that will have a foundation (working knowledge) in Search Engine Optimization. Candidates should have an understanding of current SEO best practices, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business. Your ability to succeed is dependent on being motivated, willing to learn and focused on continuous improvement with an excellent ability to communicate your vision through a number of business channels. We offer an open, collaborative environment designed to promote the exchange of new ideas.

 

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Audit and analyze websites for SEO
  • Setup websites as pertaining to SEO
  • Assist with the planning, creation, and optimization of content
  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials
  • Review project documents for completeness
  • Assist with various SEO tasks as needed
  • Optimize Google My Business pages
  • Manage brand reputation online
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and news
  • Flexibility in hours to accommodate overseas calls

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years SEO related experience
  • Strong interest in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO best practices & strategies
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console 
  • Understanding of Google My Business Business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analyzing, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

 

Additional Qualifications (Not Necessary):

  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Knowledge of Drupal CMS
  • SEMRush and additional SEO tool experience
  • Experience working remotely
