We're working with key industry partners including Amadeus and Sabre to ensure NDC enhances our customers' experience. As part of our NDC focus, we are recruiting a permanent NDC Delivery Manager, whose responsibility will be to support NDC Product Owners to deliver solutions using both TPConnects and Travelfusion for European carriers for all Flight Centre brands, as prioritised by project. The successful candidate will work with other teams to minimise the impact on brand productivity and commercials, whilst delivering a new solution, acting as a point of ownership and escalation for internal and supplier queries. You’ll be based in our Head Office in New Malden, just 14 minutes from Clapham Junction.

Your role will also involve: 

  • Acting as a subject matter expert for overall NDC EMEA project
  • Participating in regular project meetings
  • Developing and maintaining risks and issues logs
  • Presenting updates to wide brand audience
  • Supporting the air product and global air distribution teams in manging relationships with airlines with regards to NDC
  • Representing Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) when required with airline and other NDC industry bodies
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in travel industry (preferably technology led)
  • Good working knowledge of NDC and the interrelationship with travel product distribution systems
  • Experience with Airline Distribution systems
  • Experience with client and supplier relations
  • Ability to set and manage objectives, deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to define metrics and key milestones to plan and monitor
  • Experience managing multiple tasks and resources effectively
  • Ability to drive through change and industry disruption through the business
  • An understanding of risks and opportunities from technology disruption and help process experts to minimise internal disruption
  • A consultative approach in understanding the needs or requirements of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate and articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
