Account Manager – FCM Travel Solutions - Toronto

We are looking for a professional, dynamic Account Manager to nurture effective client relationships and deliver a comprehensive travel management service to our rapidly growing client base.   The Account Manager is the key FCM contact for the customer relative to the overall delivery of the managed travel program.  The FCM Account Manager typically deals directly with either the appointed Travel Manager within the customer organization and/or a Senior Procurement/HR professionalThis role will provide you with the ideal environment to advance your career – this is far from ‘just another job’.   

The key objectives of this role include:

  • Drive client profitability, growth and retention of accounts 
  • Provide an integrated travel management program in accordance with an agreed service level agreement
  • Work closely with our operational teams to provide first class customer service to our clients
  • Develop and execute travel cost management business plans detailing objectives, strategies and measurable targets
  • Actively develop and maintain multi-level client relationships
  • Provide formal reviews and analysis of the client’s travel program 

Successful Applicants Will Have:

  • Experience in an Account Manager/Client Relationship related role
  • Bilingualism preferred but not essential – English and French
  • Strong target/goal orientation
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with key stakeholders and business leaders at all levels
  • A professional demeanour with solid client-facing presentation skills
  • Ability to understand the commercial structure & drivers of the client's organization
  • Strong educational background
  • Solid computer and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated flair for planning and organizing
  • High persuasion and influence skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • A passion for travel
